Tuesday Corporate League

HeatherGlen Corporate League 2022

This league is setup to provide a fun and enjoyable match play experience for all members on Tuesday Nights from April until late September. Each evening the league plays an 18 hole round of golf and competes in a Match Play format to earn points. These points are earned all season, and determine positioning in the Playoffs. We expect that all participants in the league conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful to all fellow competitors, The HeatherGlen Golf Club and as always within the "Spirit of the Game." 

Format:
The HeatherGlen Men’s Corporate League is a season that begins in April and ends in August, with playoffs to follow in September. Every week each team will be playing against another team in a two-man best ball format. Each player on the team plays his own ball until completing the hole, then the lower of the two net scores is recorded as the team net score for that hole. This is not a scramble format; The winner of the hole will be the lower of the two team net scores.

The Match:
The 18 hole round will be divided into three matches worth one point each. The First of the three matches is on the front 9, the second match is on the back nine, and the last match is for the entire 18 holes. You will receive one point for winning the front nine, one point for winning the back nine and another point for the whole 18 holes. In order to win a hole you have to make the lowest net score. If both team’s low net score is a tie, the hole is halved. A players’ net score is a total of strokes taken on the hole less any strokes given for handicap. On the 1st Handicap hole, a player who receives one stroke will reduce their stroke score by 1. (Example: A score of 6 will be a net score of 5 after one handicap stroke is removed.)

Registration Fee for 2022 - $200 per person, or $400 per 2-Man Team
